THERM-A-SHIELD®
top coat was formulated as a commercial product to provide certain
unique qualities associated with borosilicate ceramics technology;
the dynamics of which are exemplified by the ceramic tiles developed
to serve as primary heat dissapators for the nose cone of NASA's space
shuttle rentry vehicle. In the less specific commercial realm, industrial
ceramic coatings are used to protect all roofs, furnaces, kilns and
high temperature pipes and ducting which otherwise could pose hazards
to attending personnel. |
| In
response to demands of a large and growing market for a thoroughly
viable product of this type, THERM-A-SHIELD® was formulated; this
to provide the attributes of ceramic content protection in easily
applicable liquid form. Incorporating a sophisticated mixture of ceramic
silicates, synthetic rubber resins, color pigments and various carriers.
THERM-A-SHIELD®
produces a seamless membrane roofing system and is ready to apply
via conventional brush, roller or spray methods. THERM-A-SHIELD®
is designed as an original surface coating for metal and other surfaces
where thermal conductivity retardation, corrosion resistance and
enhanced longevity are paramount considerations. In combination
with the attributes afforded by its ceramic content, are such desirable
features such as excellent adhesion, resistance to traditional wear
and impact degradation ensuring maximum continuity of product integrity
over its anticipated lifespan.

Thanks
to improved research technology, we are able to introduce a much improved
elastomeric acrylic coating to the market place. We have incorporated
our superior acrylic polymers to produce the best elastomeric base
that, coupled with ceramic hollow pressured spheres, results in the
ultimate insulation believed to be far superior to any other conventional
coating now available.

Therm-a-shield® to stop any leaks, inprove the cosmetic look
and insulate the building from strong uv rays.

| Although
Acrylic Latex polymers are known for their exterior durability and
ultraviolet resistance, early roofing applications were occasionally
problematic because the polymers were designed for applications other
than roofing. The new acrylics for roofing however, are internally
plasticized to maintain elastomeric properties such as high and low
temperature flexibility. In addition, they are combined with unique
chemistries that provide both long-term resistance to dirt pick-up
and outstanding adhesion to many roofing substrates.
The durable
100% acrylic-based coatings can be easily applied over a variety
of roofing substrates including aged built-up polyurethane foam,
asbestos, galvanized steel, asphalt shingles or cured concrete and
offer the following benefits:
